  • What is IV Hydration?
IV fluids are specially formulated liquids that are injected into a vein. Intravenous rehydration is a simple, safe, and common procedure with a low risk of complications. When receiving vitamins through IV therapy, your body absorbs the nutrients more effectively than taking oral vitamins. With IV therapy, vitamins are absorbed directly into your bloodstream bypassing your digestive system. When you visit Peak IV, you receive the highest quality vitamins from our wide range of treatment options in a relaxing spa-like environment.

  • What does an IV drip feel like?
Many ask whether an IV will hurt when going into the vein. When an IV needle is placed, it can cause some slight discomfort. You may feel a small sting or pinch for a few seconds when the needle is inserted in your arm or hand. The fluid that goes into your bloodstream is a lower temperature than body temperature, so it can temporarily make you feel a little cold. We have snuggly blankets to help warm you up, and you should feel back to normal very soon after your Drip.
  • Can I work out after receiving IV Drip Therapy?
Yes, you can carry on with your normal daily routine.
  • What is the difference between an IV and booster shot?
A Drip is an Intravenous Drip which is administered by putting a cannula into a vein in your arm. You will then be attached to the Drip for around 40 minutes while the fluid and nutrients enter your bloodstream. A Booster Shot is an injection of a single nutrient into the muscle in the arm.
